Cloud Network & Security Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network & Security Engineer to provide L3/L4 support for enterprise cloud networking and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud connectivity, network security, firewall administration, and secure access technologies. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex networking issues, managing cloud security solutions, configuring secure tunnels, and ensuring seamless connectivity across hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide L3/L4 support for cloud networking and network security environments.

- Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site VPNs, client-to-site VPNs, and secure tunnel connectivity.

- Manage cloud networking components and cloud account connectivity.

- Configure and maintain Prisma Access security policies and cloud security controls.

- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall environments.

- Troubleshoot cloud networking and connectivity issues across hybrid infrastructures.

- Manage secure web gateway solutions and cloud security platforms.

- Configure and troubleshoot switching, routing, and VLAN-related issues.

- Perform Linux-based network troubleshooting, including reverse proxy, proxy services, and iptables.

- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for internet connectivity, circuit provisioning, and issue resolution.

- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Networking:

- Strong understanding of:

1. Cloud networking and connectivity troubleshooting

2. Switching & Routing

3. VLAN configuration and troubleshooting

4. VPN technologies (Site-to-Site & Client-to-Site)

2. Network Security:

- Hands-on experience with:

1. Palo Alto Firewalls

2. Cisco Meraki

3. Prisma Access

4. Zscaler

5. Blue Coat Proxy / Secure Web Gateway

3. Linux:

- Experience with:

1. Reverse proxy configuration

2. iptables

3. Proxy setup and troubleshooting

4. Cloud Platforms:

- Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:

1. AWS

2. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

3. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Additional Preferred Skills:

- Nutanix administration and networking experience (Strong advantage)

- Experience coordinating with ISP vendors for internet connectivity and WAN-related activities

- Ability to effectively utilize AI tools to improve productivity, automation, and operational efficiency

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 6 to 8 years of experience in Cloud Networking and Network Security.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network issues.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

- Experience supporting large-scale hybrid cloud infrastructures is highly desirable
