THE ROLE :

We are looking for a builder-CTO - someone who has shipped production-grade GenAI and agentic systems at enterprise scale and can now own the entire technology vision, architecture and engineering organization of a category-defining vertical AI company.

You will inherit a live product with paying enterprise pilots and global GTM through Masin's consulting network. Your mandate : harden it, scale it, and extend its technical moat - while keeping the promises the business makes to clients : accuracy, traceability, security, and speed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Technology Vision & Architecture :

- Own end-to-end architecture of the agentic platform - orchestration of multi-agent workflows across the three intelligence layers (technical, contractual/commercial, legal).

- Design for massive-context document intelligence : reasoning over 100,000+ project documents per engagement (contracts, drawings, letters, emails, schedules) with Multiple GBs persistent project memory per client.

- Architect the multi-LLM, multi-cloud strategy (model routing, redundancy, business continuity) and own inference economics - token cost, latency, and unit cost per claim - so pricing and gross margins hold at scale.

2. AI/ML Excellence & Accuracy :

- Institutionalize hallucination control and citation traceability - every output traceable to its source document, meeting evidentiary, tribunal-ready standards.

- Own evaluation frameworks that sustain ? 9598% verified domain accuracy : golden datasets, expert-in-the-loop review pipelines, and regression benchmarks industry standard documents.

- Lead and develop agentic AI specialist technical engines and module as product enhancement features as per the business requirement.

3. Enterprise Platform & Product Engineering :

- Deliver enterprise-grade SaaS : multi-tenancy, RBAC, SSO, audit logs, versioned outputs, legal-ready document generation, and OCR/document pipelines across Excel, PDF, Word and drawing formats.

- Own uptime, performance, and the 24/7 proactive monitoring capabilities promised to clients (contract monitoring, notice-window alerts) - with engineering cadence, CI/CD and QA suited to legal-grade output quality.

4. Security, Compliance & Data Trust :

- Own SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance; CIS controls, CVSS-based vulnerability management, and third-party penetration testing programs.

- Enforce the data promise - client data never shared, never used for model training; AES-256/TLS encryption; segregated processing and storage; region-specific data residency (Middle East, EU, India, US). Lead security reviews in enterprise sales cycles and investor due diligence.

5. Team, Organization & Leadership :

- Build and lead a world-class engineering organization across AI/ML, backend, frontend, data and DevSecOps - hiring, structure, culture, career ladders and retention.

- Act as the technology voice of the company with enterprise clients (EPC contractors, employers, law firms, government bodies), investors and partners; support fundraising with a defensible technology narrative and IP strategy.

- Partner with the CEO and Global Head Strategy & Business Operations on product-pricing architecture, roadmap prioritization, and geographic expansion including the US build-out.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :

Must-Have :

- 1. 1216 years in software engineering with 5+ years in senior engineering leadership (CTO / VP Engineering / Head of AI) at a product company; 0?1's cale startup experience required.

- 2. Demonstrated delivery of production LLM/GenAI systems - agentic orchestration, RAG at scale, fine-tuning and evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and citation grounding.

- 3. Deep experience in large-scale document intelligence : OCR, parsing, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, knowledge graphs, long-context strategies.

- 4. Enterprise B2B SaaS depth - multi-tenant architecture, SLAs, enterprise security reviews, compliance-driven engineering (SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / GDPR); cloud-native expertise (AWS primary, multi-cloud a plus).

- 5. Proven ability to hire, structure and lead 20100+ person engineering organizations; comfortable operating at founder speed - hands-on in code and architecture reviews while owning board-level strategy.

Strongly Preferred :

- 1. Vertical AI in regulated industries - any domain where output correctness carries legal or financial consequence.

- 2. Track record supporting technical due diligence; prior IP creation - patents, benchmarks or recognized applied-AI work.

Education :

- 1. B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.

- 2. Strong preference for alumni of the premier IITs - IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras (Chennai), IIT Roorkee, or IIT Guwahati - or equivalent.
