Chief Technology Officer

The Role :

This is a rare opportunity to architect that technology platform from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to own and build Tribeca's technology and AI platform end to end. This is a builder's CTO role, not a figurehead. You will define the architecture, write and review code, make the build-versus-buy calls, and recruit and lead a dedicated technology team over time.

You will report directly to the Founder and CEO and sit on the leadership team. The mandate is to turn a traditional, document-and-spreadsheet-driven real estate business into an AI-native operating platform : custom internal tools for sales, construction, finance, design, and business development; an intelligence layer that sits across the company's data; and the connective infrastructure that makes it all work together.

What You'll Own :

- Architect Tribeca's core technology platform from first principles data layer, application layer, AI/intelligence layer, and integrations.

- Lead the build of custom, AI-native internal tools (CRM, construction project management, finance automation, marketing and BD tooling) where off-the-shelf software is overkill or a poor fit.

- Design and own the AI strategy : where large language models, agents, and automation create genuine operating leverage, and how to deploy them responsibly and cost-effectively.

- Make the build-versus-buy decisions across the stack, and defend them on total cost of ownership, not just sticker price.

- Recruit, hire, and lead a technology team of engineers and AI specialists in the coming time as we develop and grow.

- Establish engineering standards, security and access controls, and data governance suitable for a company preparing for public-market scrutiny.

- Partner directly with the Founder and functional heads to diagnose where technology should intervene and where it shouldn't.

Who You Are :

- A genuine builder. You have personally architected and shipped production software and AI systems, and you can still get into the code. You lead from the front, not from slideware.

- AI-native. You have hands-on depth with modern AI large language models, RAG, agentic systems, MCP, prompt and context engineering - and strong judgment about what is real versus hype.

- Architecturally disciplined. You match the solution to the size of the problem. You optimize for total cost of ownership and operational resilience, and you know when a simple system beats a clever one.

- A leader and recruiter. You have built and led engineering teams, and you can attract strong talent to a non-obvious industry.

- Commercially fluent. You can sit with a finance, sales, or construction head, understand their P&L and workflow, and design technology that moves the business - not just technology for its own sake.

Background We Value :

- 8+ years in technology, with meaningful time as a senior technical leader, head of engineering, or CTO.

- A track record of building digital products in a data-rich, consumer-facing or financial domain - fintech, wealthtech, proptech, e-commerce, or similar.

- Direct experience building AI-powered products in the current generation of tooling.

- Exposure to real estate, construction, or the home-building process is a strong plus. Domain understanding of how a developer actually operates - timelines, collections, approvals, sales cycles - meaningfully shortens the ramp.

- A strong engineering foundation from a top institution (IITs, BITS, NITs, or international equivalent), or a track record that speaks louder than the credential.
