JOB PURPOSE:

The Chief Manager - IT System Integrator orchestrates the design, execution, and lifecycle management of the corporate campus's digital ecosystem. This role unifies complex hybrid cloud infrastructures, smart campus IoT, and enterprise application delivery into a single, high-performing operational network. The position acts as the bridge between business logistics, global OEMs, vendors, and internal tech teams to ensure maximum service availability and seamless technological scaling.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Architectural Integration & Deployment:

- Design and execute end-to-end integration roadmaps for the corporate campus, merging physical building management systems (BMS), campus IoT networks, and enterprise application layers.

- Standardize environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform/Ansible to guarantee consistency across testing, staging, and production setups.

- Develop the campus systems into modern microservices and API-driven hybrid cloud infrastructures.

- Integration of disparate IT functions (NOC/SOC, cloud ops, physical hardware staging, and campus smart-automation).

Supply Operations & Vendor Governance:

- Oversee the formulation of technical Bills of Materials (BoMs) and collaborate with procurement to source OEM-certified equipment and software.

- Manage rigorous vendor staging and lab-testing pipelines to ensure multi-vendor compatibility before live deployments on campus.

- Hold third-party system integrators and contractors accountable to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) during deployment and maintenance windows.

- Monitor and validate what is being executed on site versus agreed commitments.

Service Delivery & Operational Continuity:

- Transition campus infrastructure management from reactive firefighting to predictive AIOps models, leveraging automated self-healing workflows.

- Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) to safeguard distributed edge hardware and local data hubs against downtime or breaches.

- Maintain strict regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, local physical safety/data mandates) across all integrated systems.

Procurement & Commercial Management:

- Define technical requirements and evaluation criteria for IT packages.

- Lead technical evaluation of vendors and system integrators.

- Support commercial negotiations and contract finalization.

- Ensure procurement is aligned with project programme and technology roadmap.

- Control scope changes, variations and commercial exposure.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover:

- Establish comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies.

- Ensure FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing and performance testing are completed.

- Establish documentation, asset registers, warranties, licenses and O&M requirements.

- Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to IT operations.

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

- Comply with the organization's cybersecurity, information-security and technology policies.

- Implement approved security controls, network segmentation, access restrictions and secure configurations.

- Ensure default passwords, unnecessary services and unauthorized access paths are removed or disabled.

Documentation and Handover:

- Prepare and maintain complete project documentation throughout the delivery period.

- Submit test reports, commissioning records, inspection requests and compliance certificates.

- Submit operation and maintenance manuals, troubleshooting guides and preventive-maintenance requirements.

- Provide backup copies of configurations, software, licenses and system databases.

- Conduct operator and administrator training for the IT and facilities teams.

- Support the final handover, defect closure and transition to operations.

- Provide post-handover support during the defects-liability or warranty period.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Technical & Professional Skills:

- Proficient in cloud-native paradigms (Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP), hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), software defined networking (SDN), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/WMS) architectures. Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern AIOps service delivery models.

- Knowledge of project documentation, quality procedures, testing standards and handover requirements.

Educational Qualifications:

- Engineer IT/ E&TC/ BCS/MCS

Certifications (Highly Preferred):

- Cloud Architecture: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect.

- Systems & Integration: TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture), Cisco CCIE/CCNP, or Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

- Methodology: PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL v4 Master/Expert.

Work Experience:

- 10 - 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure design, network engineering, or systems integration.

- Minimum 4 years in a leadership or programmatic role overseeing large physical environments (e.g., technology parks, corporate mega-campuses, or industrial smart facilities).
