Position Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Lead Product Engineer with expertise in Django to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding engineers, designers, product managers, and stakeholdersto deliver robust AI-driven products that meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop scalable, high-quality software solutions with a focus on maintainability and performance with AI

- Prioritize and execute tasks throughout the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Automate repetitive tasks using appropriate tools and scripting to optimize workflows.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and validation to ensure software functionality and reliability.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to continuously improve product quality and resolve issues.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering development phases and system monitoring.

- Ensure rigorous software quality through unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing strategies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering.

- Proficiency in Python and Django framework, along with experience in FastAPI, Celery, RabbitMQ, and message brokers.

- Familiarity with additional technologies such as GoLang, React.js, AWS and Azure is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills including algorithm design, debugging, and optimization.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with complex codebases and large-scale distributed systems.

- Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.

- Up-to-date with emerging technologies and capable of designing technical roadmaps for system enhancements including AI and copilot

- Self-motivated and capable of delivering effective solutions independently without requiring micromanagement.
