We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager Microsoft Azure who can effectively bridge technical leadership, solution architecture, cloud expertise, and delivery management. The ideal candidate should possess strong engineering capabilities with hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, be able to challenge technical decisions, drive architecture excellence, and own end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale cloud solutions.

This role demands a technically strong leader who can guide engineering teams, ensure delivery predictability, and build scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Engineering Governance :

- Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.

- Review and challenge solution architecture, technical designs, and implementation approaches.

- Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure engineering best practices.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, cloud-native development, DevOps, automation, and CI/CD.

- Mentor engineering teams and promote technical excellence.

Azure Platform Leadership :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure.

- Provide technical guidance across Azure services including Compute, Storage, Networking, Data Services, Integration Services, Azure DevOps, and AI services.

- Drive cloud modernization initiatives, architecture governance, performance optimization, security, and cost optimization.

- Support engineering teams in troubleshooting and optimizing Azure-based applications and deployments.

End-to-End Delivery Management :

- Own end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives from planning through production deployment.

- Define delivery plans, prioritize workstreams, and ensure timely execution.

- Track project progress, identify delivery risks proactively, and drive mitigation plans.

- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders.

- Drive accountability within teams to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.

- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, quality standards, and committed timelines.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 years to 15 years of overall IT experience with strong experience in Technical Delivery, Engineering Management, or Technical Leadership.

- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform and cloud-native application development.

- Strong knowledge of software architecture, application design, and enterprise solution delivery.

- Experience in reviewing solution architecture, technical designs, and code quality.

- Strong understanding of Azure services, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Agile methodologies.

- Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale technology programs.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent are highly preferred.

- Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams is an advantage.

Domain Experience :

- Open to candidates from any industry domain.

- Strong engineering leadership, Azure cloud expertise, architecture knowledge, and end-to-end delivery experience are more important than domain background.
