Job Description :

We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in Classical Machine Learning, Time Series Forecasting, and Retail Analytics to solve complex business problems using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building predictive models, generating actionable business insights, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive measurable business outcomes. The role focuses on developing reusable analytics frameworks, forecasting solutions, customer intelligence, pricing analytics, and experimentation within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate ambiguous business problems into analytical solutions.

- Perform exploratory data analysis, customer segmentation, driver analysis, funnel analysis, and hypothesis testing.

- Build predictive, prescriptive, and causal ML models.

- Develop accurate Time Series Forecasting models for retail demand and business planning.

- Create reusable analytics frameworks and scalable ML assets.

- Build decision-support tools and business scorecards.

- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering teams.

- Design and evaluate A/B experiments.

- Generate actionable insights that improve revenue, customer experience, and operational KPIs.

- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data pipelines and model deployment.
