Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality business intelligence dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and compelling Tableau dashboards and visualizations to meet business requirements.

- Connect to, extract, and transform data from a variety of sources, including SQL databases, data warehouses, and other data platforms.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications and reports.

- Perform data modeling, data cleansing, and ETL processes to prepare data for reporting.

- Implement best practices for performance tuning, including optimizing Tableau workbooks and underlying data sources.

- Manage and administer Tableau Server/Online, including user permissions, data source publishing, and scheduling.

- Create technical documentation for dashboards, data sources, and business logic.

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-production support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5- 8 years of experience as a Tableau Developer.

- Extensive experience in designing and developing interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database design.

- Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and/or Tableau Online.

- Proven ability to connect to various data sources and perform data modeling and transformation.

- Experience with performance optimization techniques in Tableau.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
