Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Solution Architect to join the End User Computing (EUC) group, focused on designing, developing, and documenting a critical O365 records management solution within SharePoint Online and the Security and Compliance center. This role requires mandatory expertise in Azure components (Functions, Security, Managed Identity) to integrate the solution with existing on-premise golden source records management APIs. The Architect will drive technical design approvals, ensure seamless engineering handover to operations, and actively manage project risks and major incidents.

Job Description :

- Solution Architecture and Design

- Lead the technical design, development, and comprehensive documentation of automation and engineering work required for implementing the complex Records Management solution across O365 and Azure.

- Architect and build the records management solution utilizing SharePoint Online and components within the Office 365 Security and Compliance center.

- Define and integrate required Azure components-specifically Azure Functions for logic and processing-ensuring robust Azure security, Authentication, and Managed Identity are utilized for secure connectivity.

- Design and implement the integration strategy to connect the new O365 solution with the existing on-premise golden source records management API.

- Work collaboratively with Engineering teams and other Architects to develop comprehensive technical documents and drive the necessary security and design approvals.

- Development, Automation, and Technical Expertise

- Apply good hands-on experience and knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and development practices.

- Leverage Strong knowledge of PnP (Patterns and Practices) and PowerShell for developing automation scripts and managing deployment across O365 environments.

- Utilize expertise in SharePoint Online development components such as SPFX (SharePoint Framework), PnP Framework, and CSOM (Client-Side Object Model).

- Apply Good hands-on experience on OOPS concepts, C#, and adhere to quality practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD) during engineering work.

- Possess good knowledge of the specific components of the Office 365 Security and Compliance center, with particular depth in records management.

- Project Governance and Operational Support

- Work closely with business stakeholders and project managers to define and discuss technical requirements, scope, and project timelines.

- Document and rigorously track risks, issues, and dependencies in the project RAID log, ensuring timely action and mitigation strategies are implemented.

- Drive the successful handover of engineering solutions to the operations team by providing thorough Knowledge Transfer (KT) and detailed operational guides/runbooks.

- Lead Major Incident Management during downtime events, maintaining effective communications with stakeholders and operations, assisting with resolution efforts, and performing root cause analysis (RCA) as required.

- Demonstrate commitment to the Bank's strategy and values, ensuring ongoing alignment of activities with organizational priorities.

Required Skills & Experience :

Core O365/SPO: Good hands-on experience and knowledge of SharePoint Online and the Office 365 Security and Compliance center, especially records management.

Azure: Well versed with Azure functions, Azure security, Authentication, and Managed Identity.

Development/Scripting: Strong knowledge of using PnP and PowerShell in O365, and good hands-on experience with OOPS concept, C#, and TDD.

Frameworks/Tools: Knowledge of SharePoint Online development components (SPFX, PnP Framework, CSOM) and working knowledge of Agile and SDLC tools (JIRA, Bit Bucket, Artifactory).

Leadership: Very effective communication skills, ability to adapt quickly to the agile way of working, and demonstrated ability to learn new skills through self-learning.
