Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in logical data modeling and banking domain knowledge, particularly in retail banking products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and governing enterprise data models while ensuring alignment with global data standards, metadata management frameworks, and data retention policies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review, analyze, and update logical data models based on business and functional requirements.

- Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure alignment with Enterprise Logical Data Models (ELDM) and Conceptual Data Models (CDM).

- Design and maintain high-quality logical data models that support business processes and data governance standards.

- Manage metadata for enterprise data assets and data products, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.

- Support metadata integration initiatives within the organization's Data Fabric ecosystem.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain data retention policies and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Ensure data models adhere to enterprise architecture, governance, and data quality standards.

- Participate in data governance and data management initiatives to improve data consistency and usability across the organization.

- Provide guidance and best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and information architecture.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 - 9 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or related data management roles.

- Strong expertise in Logical Data Modeling and Data Design principles.

- Solid understanding of banking products and processes, with a preference for experience in Retail Banking.

- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, Visual Paradigm, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and enterprise data management practices.

- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments and global stakeholder teams.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with metadata integration and metadata management platforms.

- Exposure to Data Fabric architecture and related technologies.

- Experience implementing data retention and data lifecycle management policies.

- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the banking industry.

- Knowledge of enterprise data architecture frameworks and data governance methodologies.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in Data Management, Data Architecture, or Banking Domain will be an added advantage.
