Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Engineer with minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong server- side programming skills, database knowledge, and experience in building scalable and secure backend systems. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to design and deliver robust backend services.

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.

- Build efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications using Python.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases - primarily MySQL and Redis.

- Integrate backend systems with third-party services and internal applications.

- Develop and optimize database queries, indexes, and stored procedures.

- Handle data pipelines, search queries, and analytics using Elasticsearch.

- Ensure system security, performance, and reliability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Maintain and improve application architecture and code quality.

Eligibility :

Minimum Qualifications :

- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (e.g., Django / Flask / FastAPI).

- Hands-on experience with MySQL and writing optimized SQL queries.

- Practical knowledge of Redis for caching and session management.

- Experience with Elasticsearch for indexing and search queries.

- Good understanding of RESTful API design and development.

- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

- Understanding of software security best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.

- Understanding of microservices architecture.

Travel :

As and when required, across the country for project execution and monitoring as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams.
