Job Summary :

We are looking for a strong Data Modeler with excellent SQL and database expertise to design scalable and efficient data models for business and analytical requirements. Candidates with prior Data Architect experience will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data models.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

- Define tables, relationships, keys, constraints, indexes, and data structures.

- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts, and development teams.

- Ensure data models support performance, scalability, data quality, and reporting requirements.

- Perform data analysis and identify data relationships, dependencies, and transformation requirements.

- Maintain and document data dictionaries, schemas, ER diagrams, and metadata.

- Review existing data models and recommend improvements for performance and scalability.

- Support database design, data migration, integration, and ETL/ELT initiatives.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Data Modeling.

- Excellent SQL skills with experience writing complex queries.

- Strong understanding of RDBMS and database concepts.

- Experience with Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling.

- Strong understanding of normalization, denormalization, relationships, keys, indexes, and constraints.

- Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent.

- Good understanding of OLTP and OLAP data models.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience working as a Data Architect / Data Solution Architect.

- Exposure to Cloud Data Platforms / Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.

- Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.

- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
