Functional Responsibilities :

- Utilize business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.

- Create and design reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide insights into key business metrics and performance indicators.

- Create semantic data models with dimensions, facts and relationships to build a robust business intelligence reporting environment.

- Collaborating with data team for the purpose of data collection, dashboard design and enhance existing business intelligence platforms.

- Develop and maintain a library of standardized reports and templates for SALIC business units and stakeholders.

- Customize reports to meet specific departmental or project requirements.

- Use data visualization tools to present complex data in a clear and visually appealing manner, making it accessible to non-technical stakeholders.

- Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

- Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks.

- Adhere to data governance and security policies to protect sensitive or confidential data.

- Stay updated with the latest business intelligence tools and techniques, and recommend improvements to reporting processes.

- Perform any other duties required from the Line Manager.

Candidate Must have :

- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a must

- Extensive experience in business intelligence and data visualization tools preferably in Microsoft Power BI.

- Familiar with relational (MySQL) databases and able to construct complex queries.

- Familiar using Python to manipulate data and visualize insights.

- Fair understanding of data warehouse, ETL and ELT

- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

- Excellent communication and story telling skills
