We are looking for a skilled BI Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing complex SQL queries, working with Oracle Financials databases, and managing large-scale data extraction and processing pipelines using AWS technologies.

You will play a key role in data mining, reporting, and supporting business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop complex SQL queries involving multiple Oracle tables to extract, analyze, and report data according to business requirements.

- Perform data crunching and mining to generate actionable business insights.

- Build, operate, and maintain highly available, distributed data systems for extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Design, develop, and automate reports and dashboards to track key business metrics and KPIs.

- Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and scalability.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout data processing workflows.

- Manage ETL processes using AWS Glue, Lambda, and other AWS services to streamline data ingestion and transformation.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and AWS resources to ensure reliability and uptime.

- Participate in data architecture and strategy discussions to improve data accessibility and usability.

- Support cross-functional teams by providing insights through data analysis and visualization.

- Document data models, processes, and workflows for team knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, AWS technologies, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 2+ years experience in developing complex SQL queries with multiple Oracle tables.

- Strong experience working with Oracle Financials related databases and generating business reports.

- Proven expertise in building and operating distributed data systems for large data extraction and processing.

- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
