Business Intelligence Developer - Power BI

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models with efficient data modeling and intuitive visualizations.

- Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Synapse, BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or other cloud data platforms.

- Implement complex DAX calculations, measure groups, and row-level security models within Power BI.

- Develop robust T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support BI solutions and data transformations.

- Design and maintain scalable data models including star schemas, fact/dimension structures, and EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) frameworks.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver analytics for CRM and PSA systems (Salesforce/Certinia or similar).

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across BI platforms and datasets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Product, Operations) to translate business needs into analytics solutions.

- Conduct performance tuning of reports, datasets, queries, and data models.

- Implement and manage Power BI security models, including RLS, workspaces, roles, and permissions.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (reports, datasets, dataflows, RLS, security, and governance).

- Expertise in Azure Synapse, BigQuery, AWS data tools, or multi-cloud analytics environments.

- Advanced skills in DAX, T-SQL, and data modeling best practices.

- Strong understanding of star schemas, dimensional modeling, and EDW concepts.

- Experience working on CRM/PSA analytics (Salesforce, Dynamics, Netsuite, Certinia PSA, etc.

- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical designs.
