Key Responsibilities :

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering :

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to understand, analyze, and document complex business requirements.

- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

- Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements for BI solutions.

- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.

BI Development & Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement robust Business Intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy.

- Create and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and actionable format.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various data sources.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all BI reports and dashboards.

Agile Project Management :

- Work within an Agile framework, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

- Manage project backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and QA, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Technical Expertise & Data Management :

- Design and manage data models and data warehouses to support BI reporting and analytics.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.

- Leverage secondary skills in Teradata and HQL for database management and querying large datasets.

- Troubleshoot and optimize existing BI systems and data pipelines to enhance performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 10+ years of total experience in the IT industry.

- 7+ years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst or BI Developer role.

- Proven experience with Agile methodologies in a professional environment.

Primary Skills :

- Extensive, hands-on experience with MicroStrategy implementation, development, and administration.

- Strong expertise in SQL for writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performing data manipulation.

- Demonstrated Business Analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and documentation.

Secondary Skills :

- Working knowledge of Teradata and experience with its SQL variant.

- Experience with HQL (Hive Query Language) for querying data in Hadoop environments
