Role Overview:
We are looking for a BSW Software Developer with strong experience in Classic AUTOSAR, Embedded C, and automotive ECU software development. The role involves developing, configuring, integrating, and debugging AUTOSAR BSW modules and communication stacks, along with supporting software integration, testing, and automation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, integrate, and maintain AUTOSAR BSW modules using Embedded C.
- Work with Classic AUTOSAR architecture and BSW configuration across automotive ECU platforms.
- Configure and integrate communication stacks including CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
- Work with ARXML files, ECU configuration, and AUTOSAR tooling.
- Develop and integrate BSW components with application software and other ECU layers.
- Configure and work with RTOS/OS features, scheduling, tasks, interrupts, and inter-task communication.
- Debug and troubleshoot BSW, communication, integration, and runtime issues using appropriate debugging and trace tools.
- Support ECU software integration, testing, validation, and release activities.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and support CI/CD pipelines for automotive software development and integration.
- Analyze software defects and perform root-cause analysis across BSW and system-integration layers.
- Collaborate with system, application, hardware, validation, and other engineering teams to resolve integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of development and integration processes.
Required Skills:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software / AUTOSAR BSW Development.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Embedded C.
- Strong understanding of Classic AUTOSAR architecture and BSW modules.
- Experience with CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet communication stacks.
- Hands-on experience with ARXML and AUTOSAR configuration.
- Experience with RTOS/OS concepts, task scheduling, interrupts, and inter-task communication.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in embedded automotive environments.
- Experience with ECU software integration, testing, and defect analysis.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and software development automation is preferred.
- Understanding of automotive software development processes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good cross-functional collaboration.
