Position Overview :

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Bangalore team and work on Botsyncs SyncOS Integrator. You will design, develop, and maintain core backend services that enable seamless integration between robots, backend systems, and customer automation platforms.

The role focuses on building APIs, handling real-time data flows, and integrating third-party systems with an emphasis on robust, high-performance, and scalable backend solutions. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure reliable, vendor-agnostic automation workflows in production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and/or Golang, with minimal reliance on frameworks.

- Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design to build efficient, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

- Analyze complex problems and deliver well-structured, optimized, and maintainable code.

- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker, ensuring smooth deployment and scalability.

- Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for clean architecture and reusable code.

- Design and develop systems based on microservices architecture, ensuring loose coupling and high availability.

- Develop and integrate services using RPC/gRPC, REST APIs, or WebSockets for efficient inter-service communication.

- Work with message queues and streaming platforms such as Redis Pub/Sub or Kafka, or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.

- Design, manage, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including writing complex queries and handling schema migrations safely.

- Work in Linux-based environments, including application setup, configuration, and server-side troubleshooting.

- Utilize Bash scripting where needed to automate tasks and manage backend processes.

Requirements :

- Strong proficiency in Python or Golang, with minimal reliance on frameworks

- Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

- Solid knowledge of system design principles, data structures, and algorithms

- Experience designing and building REST APIs and WebSockets for client-server and inter-service communication

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and implementing RPC/gRPC services

- Working experience with message brokers/queues such as Redis Pub/Sub or Kafka, or RabbitMQ

- Experience deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)

- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

- Basic Bash scripting skills for automation and server management

- Understanding of real-time systems, backend data flows, and architecture diagrams

- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently
