We are seeking an experienced Backend Development Manager to lead the backend systems for mobile banking applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, combined with leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Education : BE/B.Tech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Experience : 38 years in backend development with at least 34 years working with Java Spring Boot & Microservices in mobile or digital banking domains.

Location : Goregaon, Mumbai (5 days' from Office)

Desired Skills & Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and API Gateway integration.

- Experience with databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment automation (CI/CD pipelines).

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is a plus.

Project & People Management :

- Proven experience managing backend-focused teams in Agile environments.

- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and execute in a fast-paced delivery model.

- Effective in stakeholder engagement and cross-team coordination.
