Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure Automation, and Cloud Technologies. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building, automating, and optimizing infrastructure and deployment processes while ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across enterprise environments.

This role requires deep technical expertise in DevOps practices, configuration management, infrastructure automation, release management, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation & Configuration Management:

- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and automation frameworks.

- Build and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, modules, and automation workflows.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.

- Standardize infrastructure configurations and operational procedures across environments.

- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering:

- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.

- Automate build, deployment, release, and rollback processes.

- Optimize deployment strategies to support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery lifecycles.

- Implement automated testing and deployment validation processes.

Cloud & Platform Engineering:

- Manage and support cloud-based infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

- Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms.

- Support containerized and microservices-based deployments.

- Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Implement cloud security and governance best practices.

Containerization & Orchestration:

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Design and support Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration platforms.

- Optimize resource utilization, scaling policies, and platform performance.

- Support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Monitoring, Reliability & Operations:

- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.

- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

- Ensure platform availability, performance, and operational resilience.

- Drive proactive monitoring and incident management processes.

- Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.

Security & Compliance:

- Implement DevSecOps practices and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance policies.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.

- Manage access controls, secrets management, and infrastructure security.

Collaboration & Leadership:

- Partner with Development, QA, Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams.

- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design discussions, and technology evaluations.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and operations functions.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 712 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.

- Extensive experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

- Expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell Scripting, or Bash.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with GitOps methodologies and deployment strategies.

- Exposure to ArgoCD, Helm, Istio, or service mesh technologies.

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.

- Knowledge of security automation and DevSecOps practices.

- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or cloud-native environments.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
