BMC Software - Lead Java Full Stack Developer - Spring Boot/AngularJS

BMC is looking for an experienced Lead Full-Stack Developer to design and implement robust, scalable features across the enterprise platform for Multi-Cloud Services. You will play a key role in technical planning, architectural reviews, and mentoring teammates while delivering high-quality solutions across Java, JavaScript, and cloud-native stacks.

- Collaborate with product managers and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs

- Drive planning, feature breakdown, and sprint execution, ensuring timely and quality deliverables using CI/CD

- Develop enterprise-grade full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS, Node.js, and RESTful services

- Enforce shift-left practices including comprehensive unit testing, performance profiling, and early security validation

- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior team members and peers

- Actively participate in architectural reviews, promoting best practices and reusable designs

- Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with SaaS product goals

- Continuously research emerging technologies and tools, contributing ideas for innovation and improvement.

To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience :

- You have 10 -14 years of experience in full-stack software development with a strong foundation in Java and/or Node.js

- You have hands-on experience with Spring Boot, AngularJS (5.x+), Advanced JavaScript, and REST APIs

- You have strong understanding of OOP, MVC, scalable architecture, multithreading, and high-performance design

- You are familiar with build tools (Maven/Gradle), Git, Jenkins, and Agile practices

- You have proficiency in integrating with web services (REST/JSON/SOAP)

- You have strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills :

- Experience with web packaging tools (Webpack, Angular CLI), and advanced testing frameworks

- Familiarity with containerization, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps concepts

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

- Prior experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and global-scale distributed systems.
