Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced BMC Remedy Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, customizing, and supporting BMC Remedy applications and IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in BMC Remedy AR System, ITSM Suite, workflow development, integrations, and application support. The role involves delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing ITSM solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain BMC Remedy applications and workflows.

- Configure and customize BMC Remedy AR System components, including forms, filters, active links, escalations, menus, and workflow objects.

- Develop and support BMC Remedy ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and Service Request Management.

- Design and implement integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.

- Develop custom applications and enhancements based on business requirements.

- Perform application upgrades, patches, migrations, and environment management.

- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.

- Optimize application performance and ensure platform stability, scalability, and security.

- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, development standards, and best practices.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in BMC Remedy development.

- Strong expertise in BMC Remedy AR System and BMC Remedy ITSM Suite.

- Experience in developing workflows, forms, filters, active links, escalations, menus, and custom applications.

- Hands-on experience with BMC Helix Platform and Helix Innovation Studio is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.

- Experience with Remedy Data Import Tool (DMT), Atrium CMDB, and integrations with third-party systems.

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- BMC Certified Professional (Remedy/Helix) certification is preferred.

- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is desirable.
