Bilvantis Technologies - Data Analysis Lead - Python/SQL

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst (Tableau & Power BI) - Technical Lead to oversee data visualization initiatives, manage analytical workflows, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and data storytelling concepts, along with the ability to lead dashboard design and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Dashboard Design & Visualization :

- Lead the design and development of interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.

- Create dashboard concepts and visual layouts using Adobe, Canva, or similar design tools.

- Ensure dashboards are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with business goals.

Data Preparation & Management :

- Create OBT (Operational Business Transformation) datasets for dashboard development and analytics needs.

- Aggregate, clean, integrate, and merge datasets from multiple sources while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Develop data models to support analytical requirements and self-service BI.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Interpret business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions and dashboard specifications.

- Partner with business teams to understand needs, prioritize tasks, and deliver meaningful insights.

- Communicate findings and recommendations through clear visualizations and presentations.

Technical Development & Analysis :

- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data efficiently.

- Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytical tasks.

- Apply data management best practices across the full data lifecycle.

Agile Delivery & SDLC :

- Work within Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions.

- Follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for documentation, testing, and deployment of analytics solutions.

- Deliver daily status reports and maintain transparent communication with customers and project stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, business analysts, product owners, and domain experts.

- Support the integration of dashboards and insights into broader business workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10 to 12 years of experience in data analysis using Tableau and Power BI.

- Strong expertise in data visualization, dashboard development, and UI design principles.

- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and data modeling.

- Experience in dashboard concept design using Adobe, Canva, or similar tools.

- Proficiency in Python for data preparation and automation tasks.

- Strong understanding of data aggregation, blending, and merging techniques.

- Ability to interpret business requirements and create analytical solutions tailored to stakeholder needs.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams, Agile environments, and SDLC processes.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Highly proactive, adaptive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
