About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer specializing in backend development and API design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET 6+, C#, and RESTful API development, along with experience in microservices, databases, and cloud platforms. This role requires a hands-on developer who can design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C#.

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints for application integration.

- Implement microservices-based architectures with secure, scalable, and reusable services.

- Integrate applications with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third-party services.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through best practices.

- Write unit tests and integration tests to maintain high code quality.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams in an agile environment.

- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 68 years of professional experience as a Backend / API Developer in .NET.

- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+.

- Hands-on experience in API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL).

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented design.

- Solid experience with databases :

- SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

- NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) preferred

- Experience with Entity Framework / Dapper / ORM frameworks.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and containerized deployments.

- Good understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or serverless architectures.

- Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).

- Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).

- Experience with test automation frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
