Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced BI Operations Analyst/Specialist with 4.5- 6 years of experience to manage the operational stability and integrity of our critical business intelligence platforms (Power BI and/or Qlik).

This role is centered on ensuring accurate, timely data delivery to stakeholders, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency in SQL, and excellent client communication.

The Analyst will serve as the primary operational point of contact, ensuring quick issue resolution and clear communication of data insights.

Key Responsibilities and Operational Focus :

Dashboard Monitoring and Validation :

- Monitor, validate, and refresh Power BI and Qlik dashboards to ensure continuous availability and data integrity.

- Ensure the accuracy of dataflows and the timely delivery of alerts related to critical business metrics.

Troubleshooting and Incident Management :

- Troubleshoot data issues, perform comprehensive root cause analysis (RCA), and drive quick resolutions to minimize business impact.

- Apply a good understanding of data investigations, monitoring, and validations to preemptively identify and mitigate risks.

Documentation and Compliance :

- Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), detailed escalation protocols, and comprehensive operational documentation to ensure repeatable and efficient processes.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Serve as the primary client POC (Point of Contact) for all operational updates, incidents, and escalations.

- Communicate clearly through emails, reports, and meetings, providing status updates and post-incident summaries.

- Effectively translate technical data issues into business-friendly insights for management and non-technical users.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Development) to resolve complex data and application issues with minimal disruption.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Experience : 4.5- 6 years in BI operations, reporting support, or data management roles.

BI Tool Proficiency :

- Strong experience with Power BI and/or Qlik for dashboard maintenance and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL for querying data, validation checks, and supporting RCA activities.

- Familiarity with ETL/data integration concepts to understand pipeline structure and data flow dependencies.

Operational Skills :

- Good understanding of data investigation methodologies, monitoring tools, and data validation techniques.

Communication :

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-handling skills
