Job Description
Required :
- 5+ years of experience in BI system/platform administration.
- MicroStrategy - Strong experience
- Python
- Rest API
- OS (RHEL and/or Windows) working experience
- Skilled Admin/Engineer of general BI Platforms(Infrastructure and Application)
- Design, build and deliver platforms that sustain operational excellence
- Build processes and platforms which are fault-tolerant, self-healing, reliable, resilient, and secure
- Actively participate in architecture reviews, support overall platforms, support the establishment of standard processes and frameworks
- Take an open and transparent approach to the work by sharing expertise, consulting peers for problem-solving,and by being a mentor to your peers
- Quickly analyze, evaluate, and select appropriate resolutions to highly intricate and technical issues
- Experience applying software upgrades and patches
- Experienced with monitoring and alerting practices
- AWS skills
- Infrastructure as code
- Cloudwatch
- Lambda
- EC2
- IAM
- Cloudformation templates
- Enthusiastic willingness and demonstrated ability and to learn new technology
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable with on call support and off hour maintenance
- Work effectively and in real-time with other engineers, product managers, and customers to deliver on collective goals
- Experience servicing end users directly and demonstrated customer service skills
Additional / preferred skills :
- Microstrategy, Tableau, or other BI Tool Administrative/Engineering experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and support the MicroStrategy platform including configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and security.
- Design and implement scalable BI architectures with a focus on operational excellence, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver secure, scalable BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation and platform integrations (e.g., REST APIs).
- Perform routine maintenance and on-call support for BI platforms, ensuring high availability and fast issue resolution.
