Responsibilities :

- Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning.

- Write high-quality, testable, maintainable and efficient code in backend languages (e.g., Python, Java, Kotlin) and associated frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Spring Boot,).

- Collaborate with the Product team to align on feature development and overall service functional goals.

- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to postmortems and system hardening.

- Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience building backend systems, preferably in fintech or financial platforms.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.

- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.

- Experience with designing or maintaining systems with transactional guarantees (ACID).

- Strong experience in leading design and implementation of robust and highly scalable back end services.

- An understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).

- An understanding of Domain Driven Design and micro services style of service development.

- Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems.

- Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail, especially when working with financial data.

- Excellent verbal and written communication ski.
