About the Role :

The role involves architecting and implementing REST APIs, designing low-latency applications, and leading the integration of GenAI-powered capabilities into backend systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

- Lead integration of GenAI-powered capabilities into backend systems, including prompt-based APIs and tool-using agents.

- Test software to ensure responsiveness, correctness and efficiency.

- Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.

- Take initiatives to build better and faster solutions to the problems of scale.

- Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage Major Incidents.

- Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordingly.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of professional experience.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) and Node JS is a must.

- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

- In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Express JS and Restify.

- Experience in building backend services for handling data at large scale is a must.

- Ability to architect high-availability applications and servers on cloud adhering to best practices.

- Microservices architecture is preferable.

- Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB.

- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent GenAI agentic frameworks is a strong plus.

- Experience writing complex SQL queries.

- In-depth knowledge of Node JS concepts like the event loop.

- Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code.

- Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered backend services or tools (e.g., prompt routers,

embedding search, RAG pipelines).

- Understanding of communication using WebSockets.

- Good understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles.

- Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker containerization is preferable.

- Experience in Python is a plus.

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, assist in code reviews, and support efficient coding practices is a plus.

- Familiarity with Git.
