Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Golang) with 2 - 4 years of experience to join our Tech Solutions team in Gurgaon.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Go programming, microservices architecture, REST API development and distributed systems.

The role involves building scalable backend applications, optimising system performance and contributing to cloud-based technology solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable backend services and managing features across the complete development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and implementation to deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Golang.

- Build, integrate and maintain RESTful APIs to support business and application requirements.

- Contribute to system design and distributed architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance.

- Implement caching mechanisms using Redis and manage relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL.

- Develop efficient and maintainable code using Go programming best practices.

- Work with Go concurrency concepts, including goroutines, channels, context management and error handling.

- Write and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability.

- Develop Shell/Bash scripts and contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment workflows.

- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud infrastructure.

- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks and technical challenges.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Engineering teams to deliver technology solutions.

- Take ownership of assigned features throughout the development lifecycle, including implementation, testing, deployment and production support.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2 - 4 years of experience in backend development or software engineering.

- Strong hands-on programming experience in Golang (Go).

- Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, availability and application performance.

- Hands-on experience in REST API development and integration.

- Experience working with Redis and relational databases such as SQL/PostgreSQL.

- Good understanding of Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, context and error handling.

- Experience writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests.

- Working knowledge of Shell/Bash scripting, Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud platforms.

- Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
