Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Azure Data Scientist to join our high-impact analytics team in Bangalore. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex raw data and actionable business strategy by architecting and deploying scalable machine learning models within the Azure ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product managers, data engineers, and executive stakeholders to translate ambiguous business challenges into robust technical solutions. Your work will directly influence product roadmaps and operational efficiency, ensuring that our data-driven initiatives provide a significant competitive advantage in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines using Azure Databricks to accelerate model training and deployment cycles for our core product lines.

- Develop sophisticated predictive models and algorithms in Python to solve high-priority business problems, directly impacting customer retention and revenue growth.

- Optimize data processing workflows within the Azure cloud environment to ensure high availability and performance for large-scale enterprise datasets.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to interpret analytical findings, effectively communicating complex technical insights to non-technical leadership to drive strategic decision-making.

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the refinement of internal best practices for model governance and MLOps within the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in leveraging the Azure cloud stack and Azure Databricks to build, monitor, and scale production-grade machine learning solutions.

- Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and the development of custom machine learning libraries.

- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills when presenting findings to senior management.

- A track record of working effectively in a hybrid office environment in Bangalore, balancing independent research with collaborative team sprints.

- A solid academic foundation in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, complemented by 5 - 9 years of hands-on experience in data science roles.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes rather than just technical outputs.
