We are seeking an experienced Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) IAM Specialist to design, implement, and manage enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Hybrid Identity.
The role involves securing enterprise identities, managing authentication and authorization services, integrating applications with identity providers, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and on-premises Active Directory environments.
- Configure and manage Hybrid Identity solutions using Azure AD Connect and synchronization services.
- Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols.
- Configure and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access Policies to strengthen organizational security.
- Deploy and support Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) for federated authentication scenarios.
- Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, group management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Integrate cloud and enterprise applications with Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication and authorization.
- Troubleshoot authentication, synchronization, federation, and identity-related issues across hybrid environments.
- Monitor identity infrastructure, analyze security events, and recommend improvements to reduce security risks.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement Zero Trust identity strategies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, audit requirements, and industry best practices.
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles for IAM solutions.
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) administration and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
- Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies and federation protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Experience configuring and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access Policies.
- Expertise in Azure AD Connect, Hybrid Identity, and directory synchronization.
- Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
- Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Governance concepts.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and identity administration.
- Understanding of authentication protocols such as Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, and DNS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security solutions including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and Identity Protection is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft certifications such as :
1. Microsoft Certified : Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
2. Microsoft Certified : Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
3. Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Experience in enterprise IAM environments supporting large-scale hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Exposure to Zero Trust security architecture and cloud security frameworks.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong documentation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
