Role Overview :

An Axtria Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) deploys directly into a pharma client's environment, operating on client data within commercial or clinical operations to build production AI systems. This role requires technical depth to architect production AI, pharma domain knowledge, and consulting maturity to operate independently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Embed directly within pharma client organisations as a trusted technical peer to own the design, build, and deployment of production AI systems.

- Lead technical workstreams and direct teams of Agent Pipeline Engineers and AI-Augmented Engineers.

- Hold technical client relationships at Director, VP, and CDO levels.

AI Architecture and Engineering :

- Architect multi-agent AI systems spanning orchestration, RAG, memory architectures, and production MLOps.

- Build on stacks including Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Anthropic API.

- Design AI evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, LLM-as-judge) compliant with HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA guidance.

Pharma Domain Translation :

- Translate commercial and clinical business problems into AI-solvable architectures.

- Validate AI outputs against pharma business logic and commercial norms.

Programme Contribution :

- Contribute to Axtria's library of pharma AI deployment patterns and reference architectures.

- Mentor junior FDEs and contribute to technical standards.
