Job Role: Software Architect - Automotive Camera System

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop software architecture for automotive camera systems and embedded ECU applications.

- Define scalable, modular, and high-performance software architecture for camera-based ADAS solutions.

- Lead architecture design for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Rear View, and Surround View camera systems.

- Develop and integrate camera processing solutions on Qualcomm SoC or similar embedded platforms.

- Design and optimize camera pipelines involving Camera Imager, Serializer, De-Serializer, and ISP.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, system, and software engineers.

- Create and maintain software architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design artifacts.

- Perform architecture reviews, provide technical mentoring, and support project delivery throughout the software lifecycle.

- Ensure compliance with automotive software development standards and industry best practices.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with camera processing in ECU environments.

- Strong expertise in Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Rear View, and Surround View Camera solutions.

- Experience with Qualcomm SoC or similar automotive camera frameworks.

- Excellent understanding of Camera Imager, Serializer, De-Serializer, ISP (Image Signal Processor), and camera subsystem architecture.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming within multi-process and multi-threaded embedded environments.

- Experience with DOORS, DNG, or similar requirements management tools.

- Hands-on experience with IBM Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect (EA) for software architecture modeling.

- Strong understanding of embedded software architecture, design patterns, and the automotive software development lifecycle.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
