We are looking for a strong Automotive Android Video Engineer with deep expertise in Android multimedia and Android video frameworks across the complete software stack for Gen3++ Snapdragon Platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong C++ design and development skills with hands-on experience in Android video playback architecture, Android Multimedia Framework internals, Android Codec2 Framework, Android V4L2 interactions, Android buffer management, hardware video pipelines, and Linux multimedia driver interactions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, integrate, and optimize Android video and Android multimedia components for automotive platforms
- Work across complete Android multimedia/video stack from framework to low-level video interfaces
- Develop and debug Android video playback pipelines and Android media services
- Optimize video playback latency, synchronization, throughput, and memory utilization
- Work on hardware accelerated video encoder/decoder pipelines
- Debug Android multimedia framework, codec, rendering, and buffer flow related issues
- Analyze performance bottlenecks in Android video playback and streaming use cases
- Collaborate with BSP, display, graphics, and platform teams
- Support bring-up, integration, and stabilization of Android multimedia stack on Gen3++ platforms
