Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, Appium, CI/CD, Android, GPS fundamentals, Automotive IVI, and Embedded Software Testing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases for Android-based Automotive IVI and navigation systems, identifying defects, and integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Appium.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of Android applications.

- Test Automotive IVI systems and navigation-related features.

- Validate GPS fundamentals, positioning, location accuracy, and navigation functionality.

- Develop automated test scenarios for Android-based IVI applications.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.

- Analyze test failures, debug issues, and perform root-cause analysis.

- Execute automated and manual test cases as required.

- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers and other engineering teams to resolve defects.

- Maintain test scripts and frameworks according to application/build changes.

- Prepare test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in Java.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

- Strong understanding of GPS fundamentals.

- Experience in Automotive IVI testing.

- Experience as an Embedded Software Tester.

- Hands-on experience in Android application testing.

- Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Strong debugging and analytical skills.

- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Android Automotive / Android IVI.

- Knowledge of GPS/GNSS testing and navigation systems.

- Experience with API testing.

- Knowledge of Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD.

- Basic knowledge of CAN/CAN Bus.

- Experience with HIL testing or GPS simulation.

- Knowledge of ADB, UI Automator, or Espresso.

- Exposure to Automotive protocols and embedded systems.

- Knowledge of Android Auto / Apple CarPlay is an added advantage.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate :

- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in : Java + Selenium + Appium + Android + Automotive IVI + GPS + Embedded Testing + CI/CD.

- Candidates with experience in automotive navigation, Android IVI, GPS/GNSS, HIL, or embedded automotive testing will be highly preferred.
