Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Lead/Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java application development, Hibernate, Spring Framework, data structures, algorithms, collections, and database technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting highly scalable and reliable Java-based applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain robust Java-based enterprise applications.

- Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Core Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.

- Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Collections, OOP, and design principles to solve complex technical problems.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.

- Work with Sybase databases as the preferred database technology; experience with SQL Server/MS SQL will also be considered.

- Analyze and resolve application performance, production, and database-related issues.

- Work in Linux/Unix environments for application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support.

- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, application support, monitoring, and operational activities.

- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design guidelines.

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Technical Skills :

- 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong understanding of OOP, Data Structures & Algorithms, Java Collections Framework, Multithreading/Concurrency, Memory management, and JVM fundamentals.

- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Dependency Injection, Transaction Management).

- Hibernate: ORM concepts, Entity mapping, HQL/JPQL, Criteria APIs, Caching, and performance optimization.

- Database: Strong experience with relational databases, Sybase (preferred), or SQL Server.

- Linux/Unix: Strong knowledge of environments, commands, and system-level troubleshooting.

- Shell Scripting: Hands-on experience with Bash scripting for automation and monitoring.

- CI/CD & DevOps: Understanding of pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Docker.

- Experience with RESTful web services, API development, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
