Role Overview :

As a successful Data Governance professional you will be responsible for defining and driving Data Governance Programmes, Data Management initiatives, and continuous improvement. You will manage the implementation of Data Governance, Quality, and Data Catalog programs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Interface with varied stakeholders like project managers, business analysts, technical leads, and business teams.

- Understand the Regulatory Landscape and collaborate to maintain enterprise data policies and standards.

- Design Data Governance and Data Quality Frameworks and test solutions to ensure data quality principles are maintained.

- Develop, implement, and promote Governance Strategies, ensuring quality, security, compliance, and privacy of data assets.

- Lead data stewards, data owners, and data users to reinforce the importance of data governance.

- Manage and report on compliance with Data Privacy policies.

- Drive the implementation of data governance tools and technologies to support data catalogs, business glossary, metadata management, and data lineage.

Required Skills :

- Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, IT, Computer Sciences, or Statistics.

- 12 - 16 years of Information systems experience with 10 years in data governance and management.

- CDMP Certification is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, BCBS 239).

- In-depth knowledge of data management, metadata management, data quality, master data management, and data stewardship.

- Hands-on experience with Data Governance tools : Collibra, Atlan, Alation, Datahub, IDGC.

- Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
