Role Overview :
As an Associate Data Scientist based in Mumbai, you will sit at the intersection of complex data architecture and strategic business decision-making. In this role, you will spend your days architecting predictive models, mining large-scale datasets for actionable insights, and translating technical findings into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to integrate machine learning solutions directly into the customer journey. By bridging the gap between raw data and business strategy, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and driving measurable growth for our core product offerings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deploy robust machine learning models to solve high-impact business problems, ensuring that predictive accuracy directly translates into improved customer experiences.
- Execute end-to-end data pipelines by leveraging SQL and Python to extract, clean, and transform disparate data sources into structured formats ready for advanced modeling.
- Translate complex analytical findings into intuitive data visualizations using Tableau to empower leadership teams to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to validate hypotheses, ensuring that all data-driven initiatives are grounded in sound mathematical principles and business logic.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to scale prototype models into production-ready environments, ensuring high performance and reliability across our big data infrastructure.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python and R for statistical modeling, alongside a deep understanding of Scikit-Learn and Pandas for efficient data manipulation and feature engineering.
- Exhibit a strong command of Deep Learning frameworks and data modeling techniques to address non-linear business challenges and complex pattern recognition.
- Possess the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that data insights are actionable and aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Mumbai.
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics, supported by 3 - 6 years of professional experience in data-intensive roles.
