As part of its growth journey, the organization is looking for an experienced technology leader for the role of AVP IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Systems to drive enterprise infrastructure operations, modernization initiatives, security compliance, and infrastructure governance while leading high-performing teams.
Role Overview :
We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on IT Infrastructure Leader with strong expertise across Wintel, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Virtualization, Backup & DR, Security Hardening, and Enterprise Infrastructure Operations. The role requires a balance of 6070% Technical Ownership and 3040% Team Management & Leadership. The ideal candidate should have strong technical depth combined with leadership capabilities to manage critical enterprise environments, drive infrastructure transformation initiatives, ensure high availability, and lead strategic IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Leadership & Infrastructure Management :
- Lead and manage enterprise-wide Windows Server and Linux infrastructure environments.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, system optimization, and platform stability initiatives.
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, IIS, authentication systems, and enterprise access management.
- Manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure AD integrations.
- Ensure infrastructure security through OS hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance based on CIS/NIST standards.
- Lead vulnerability assessment and remediation programs in coordination with security teams.
- Manage virtualization environments including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
- Oversee enterprise backup solutions, Disaster Recovery (DR), failover testing, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, and incident response processes.
- Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting technologies.
2. Leadership & Stakeholder Management :
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and system administration teams.
- Define SOPs, operational processes, governance standards, and documentation frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, security teams, vendors, and technology partners for infrastructure planning and execution.
- Handle major incidents, escalations, and critical production environments.
- Participate in IT strategy, capacity planning, budgeting, and technology roadmap discussions.
- Ensure adherence to SLA, audit, compliance, and operational governance requirements.
Required Skills & Expertise :
- Strong experience in Windows/Wintel and Linux Administration.
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy (GPO) management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration.
- Strong knowledge of OS hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance.
- Experience managing Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity environments.
- Strong expertise in VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
- Good understanding of infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and IT operations.
- Experience with Nutanix AHV & Prism will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting using PowerShell and/or Bash.

Education & Experience :
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Enterprise Systems.
- Prior experience in leadership or managerial roles is preferred.
- Certifications such as MCSA, AZ-104, RHCSA, Nutanix NCP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
We are looking for someone who is technically hands-on but also capable of leading teams and enterprise infrastructure strategy. The candidate should have strong experience across Windows + Linux + M365 + Virtualization + Backup/DR + Security, along with proven exposure to stakeholder management and enterprise IT operations.
