Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Asset Control Consultant with strong expertise in Asset Control (EDM) and financial data management. The role will be responsible for implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Asset Control solutions used to manage reference data, market data, and security master data across financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, configure, enhance, and support Asset Control (EDM) solutions.

- Gather business and data requirements and translate them into Asset Control configurations and technical solutions.

- Manage reference data, market data, security master data, and instrument data within Asset Control.

- Design and maintain data workflows, validation rules, enrichment processes, and data quality controls.

- Configure Asset Control data models, mappings, interfaces, and integration processes.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.

- Integrate Asset Control with upstream data providers, downstream applications, and enterprise data platforms.

- Monitor data feeds and identify data quality, completeness, consistency, and reconciliation issues.

- Troubleshoot application, data, interface, and integration issues and drive resolution.

- Support data onboarding, source integration, transformation, enrichment, and distribution processes.

- Perform impact analysis and support enhancements, upgrades, testing, and production releases.

- Work closely with business users, data management teams, technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

- Prepare technical documentation, data mappings, support procedures, and solution documentation.

- Establish and improve data quality, governance, and control processes across reference and market data.

- Provide production support and perform root-cause analysis for critical data and application issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 - 11 years of experience in Asset Control, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), reference data, market data, or financial data management.

- Strong hands-on experience with Asset Control (EDM) implementation, configuration, customization, and support.

- Strong understanding of reference data, security master data, market data, and financial instruments.

- Experience designing and managing data workflows, validation, enrichment, mapping, and reconciliation processes.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.

- Experience with data integration, interfaces, data feeds, and enterprise data platforms.

- Understanding of data quality, data governance, lineage, and reconciliation concepts.

- Experience troubleshooting production issues across application, database, data, and integration layers.

- Experience working with financial institutions, capital markets, investment banking, or financial data environments.

- Ability to translate business/data requirements into technical solutions and Asset Control configurations.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Experience with SDLC, testing, release management, and production support processes.
