Ascendion - Senior Java Developer - Data Structure & Algorithm

Job Summary :

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications.

A strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and extensive experience with REST APIs, Spring Boot, and Microservices is essential.
You'll work on complex projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions.

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other services.

- Apply Data Structures and Algorithms expertise to solve complex problems and optimize

application performance.

- Utilize and enforce Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

- Conducted code reviews, mentored junior developers, and promoted best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Demonstrable expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms and their real-world application.

- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Extensive experience with the Spring Framework, specifically Spring Boot.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing Microservices architecture.

- Proficiency in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g.,

MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
