Job Description :

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist with deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI to lead the development and deployment of enterprise-scale analytics solutions and data products. The role involves taking solutions from business problem definition through data preparation, model development, application development, deployment, adoption, and value realization. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical leadership with hands-on expertise in Databricks, modern analytics engineering, and AI-driven digital transformation, delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities :

- Lead Data Science initiatives through technical expertise, best practices, mentorship, and development of Data Scientists.

- Drive enterprise-scale AI, Machine Learning, advanced analytics, and data product initiatives from concept to production.

- Partner with business stakeholders and leadership to identify opportunities, translate requirements into solutions, and demonstrate measurable business value.

- Develop and deploy solutions across predictive and prescriptive analytics, optimization, forecasting, experimental design, and Generative AI.

- Build analytical applications using frameworks such as React, FastAPI, Streamlit, Databricks Apps, or similar technologies.

- Leverage Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL to develop scalable analytics and AI solutions.

- Apply model deployment, MLOps, API development, version control, and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable production delivery.

- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, Product Owners, architects, and business teams to deliver integrated data products.

- Work closely with Data Engineering teams on ETL/ELT, data modelling, governance, and data pipeline requirements.

- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks to support modernization and digital transformation.

- Drive user adoption, continuous improvement, and value realization across deployed solutions.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence, including at least 3 years in a senior technical leadership role.

- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics and AI initiatives and taking solutions from development through production.

- Expert-level proficiency in Machine Learning, statistics, predictive and prescriptive analytics, optimization, forecasting, experimental design, and AI.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and Databricks, with advanced proficiency in Apache Spark.

- Experience with Generative AI, model deployment, MLOps, API development, AI solution development, Git, and CI/CD practices.

- Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modelling, data governance, software development practices, cloud architecture, and Data Engineering principles.

- Experience mentoring Data Scientists and leading cross-functional initiatives involving product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

- Ability to develop practical analytical applications and deliver scalable, production-ready solutions that generate measurable business outcomes.

- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure; React, FastAPI, Streamlit, or Databricks Apps; RAG architectures, LLM-based applications, optimization solvers, or manufacturing analytics is preferred.

- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly.
