What youll do :

- Architect, own, and deliver complex, multi-quarter projects end-to-end, setting the technical vision for your domain.

- Proactively identify and address architectural deficiencies, scale critical systems, and drive improvements in performance and reliability.

- Collaborate closely with product, design, and business leaders to translate ambiguous business goals into a clear technical roadmap and strategy.

- Establish and champion best practices for operational excellence, improving the entire team's ability to monitor, alert, and respond to incidents.

- Mentor L1/L2 engineers, lead by example through high-impact design documents and code reviews, and raise the engineering bar across the team.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping high-impact products.

- Architectural-level expertise in a modern language (TypeScript/JS, Python, Go, or Java).

- Proven experience designing, building, and operating scalable, distributed systems in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP).

- Deep expertise in building and consuming web APIs (REST/GraphQL), and designing patterns for caching (Redis) and asynchronous processing (message queues).

- Advanced skills in designing, optimizing, and scaling SQL/NoSQL databases for high-traffic applications.

- Mastery of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code principles (e.g., Terraform).

Nice to have : Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), advanced database optimization, designing distributed systems, or prompt engineering.
