Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and execution-driven AI Lead with strong experience in the BFSI domain to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of architecture, hands-on development, and team leadership.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate complex financial services problems into scalable AI and data solutions.

Unlike a pure architect role, this position requires active involvement in solution development, model implementation, and delivery ownership, while also contributing to strategic solutioning and client discussions.

Key Responsibilities :

AI Solution Design & Development :

- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end AI/ML solutions across BFSI use cases

- Translate business problems into data science and AI solution frameworks

- Build and deploy machine learning and GenAI models for real-world applications

- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of AI systems in production

Data & AI Use Case Ownership :

- Drive key BFSI use cases such as :

- Fraud detection & AML

- Credit risk modeling

- Customer analytics & personalization

- Process automation (e., underwriting, claims)

- Work with structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights

- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards

Architecture & Platform Enablement :

- Contribute to designing data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, real-time pipelines)

- Collaborate on defining AI/ML architecture across cloud environments

- Support API-based integrations and microservices-based deployments

- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards

Cloud, MLOps & Deployment :

- Build and manage ML pipelines and workflows using MLOps best practices

- Deploy models on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI solutions

- Monitor model performance, drift, and lifecycle management

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration :

- Partner with business teams to understand requirements and define AI strategies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, and product

- Communicate technical solutions in a business-friendly manner

- Participate in client discussions, demos, and solution walkthroughs

Pre-Sales & Solutioning Support :

- Support RFP/RFI responses with AI solution design inputs

- Contribute to building POCs and demos for prospective clients

- Assist in effort estimation and solution planning

- Help articulate value propositions and business impact

Technical Leadership :

- Mentor and guide data scientists and ML engineers

- Drive best practices in AI/ML development and deployment

- Ensure high-quality code, documentation, and solution delivery

- Stay updated with emerging AI trends, especially in GenAI

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 to 10 years of experience in Data Science / AI / ML roles

- Strong hands-on experience with Python and ML frameworks (e., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

- Experience with GenAI tools (LLMs, LangChain, prompt engineering)

- Solid understanding of BFSI domain use cases

- Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of MLOps tools, model deployment, and monitoring

- Experience with data engineering concepts (ETL, pipelines, data lakes)

- Familiarity with microservices and API-based architectures

Good to Have :

- Exposure to real-time data processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming)

- Experience in building enterprise-scale AI platforms

- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in BFSI

- Prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles
