Job Description :

We are looking for AI Engineers who have hands-on experience building AI-powered products using Google Gemini on Vertex AI. The role involves developing intelligent workflows and AI agents for complex business processes within the health insurance domain.

The team is highly technology-focused and works on real-world AI integration challenges including prompt engineering, multi-step reasoning, structured outputs, tool usage, and autonomous AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build AI-powered features using Google Gemini on Vertex AI

- Design and optimize prompts for reasoning, extraction, classification, and decision support

- Work with structured outputs, JSON mode, function calling, and grounding

- Build and improve AI agents with multi-step workflows and tool/API integrations

- Manage context efficiently for better LLM performance

- Evaluate model outputs and improve reliability using validations and guardrails

- Work with different Gemini models (Flash, Pro, Ultra) based on use cases

- Collaborate with backend and product teams to deliver production-grade AI systems.

- End-to-end solution design : Architect AI-driven solutions from ideation to deployment, ensuring scalability and performance on GCP.

- Cross-functional collaboration : Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business needs into AI-powered workflows.

- Domain-specific innovation : Explore and implement generative AI use cases tailored to the health insurance sector, such as claims automation, fraud detection, and customer support.

- Performance optimization : Continuously fine-tune models for latency, accuracy, and cost efficiency across different Gemini variants.

- Security & compliance : Ensure AI solutions adhere to data privacy, HIPAA, and regulatory standards while maintaining ethical AI practices.

- Experimentation & research : Stay ahead of emerging trends in LLMs, agentic workflows, and multimodal AI; drive POCs and innovation initiatives.

- Monitoring & reliability: Implement monitoring pipelines, guardrails, and feedback loops to ensure production-grade reliability.

- Mentorship & knowledge sharing : Guide junior engineers on prompt engineering, agent design, and best practices in AI development.

- Toolchain integration : Build connectors and integrations with enterprise APIs, CRMs, and workflow systems.

- Documentation & communication : Create clear technical documentation and present solutions to stakeholders in a business-friendly manner.
