Key Responsibilities :
- Own the core data platform end-to-end : ingestion, pipelines, storage, and the analytics/reporting substrate every other product line builds on.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to turn raw operational and clinical data into a reliable, scalable foundation other SPMs and teams can build on top of.
- Define and own the metrics that describe platform health and value : data quality, latency, coverage, downstream adoption.
- Operate with a bias for action in ambiguous, often spec-less territory - a lot of what you build has no customer directly asking for it.
- Bring structured, analytical thinking to trade-offs between build velocity, data quality, and long-term scalability.
- Represent downstream consumers (product, DL, QA, CS) internally - build for how the platform will actually be used, not just what's architecturally clean.
- Drive build decisions with a clear ROI lens - size the cost/impact of a platform investment before committing, and track whether the bet paid off.
Requirements :
- 7+ years in product management, ideally with hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, or analytics engineering before moving into PM.
- Proven track record of building or owning a significant component of a data platform - pipelines, ingestion, warehousing; not just consuming one.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to break down complex, multi-variable problems into structured, logical solutions.
- Deep understanding of prioritization, trade-offs, and stakeholder management in fast-paced environments.
- Bias for action - moves on incomplete information rather than waiting for a clean spec.
- Excellent cross-functional communication.
