Atlassian Administrator (Jira, Confluence & JSM)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Atlassian Administrator with 3+ years of experience in administering and supporting the Atlassian suite, including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence. The ideal candidate should have experience configuring projects, workflows, permissions, dashboards, reporting, and integrating Atlassian Marketplace apps to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence.

- Configure and manage Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, custom fields, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rules.

- Administer Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and knowledge base integrations.

- Create and maintain dashboards, filters, and reports using native Jira reporting and eazyBI.

- Design and maintain eazyBI reports and dashboards for project and executive-level reporting.

- Configure and administer Xray for test management, including test plans, test executions, and traceability.

- Install, configure, and support Atlassian Marketplace applications.

- Integrate Atlassian products with third-party tools using REST APIs and Marketplace apps.

- Troubleshoot Jira, JSM, Confluence, and plugin-related issues.

- Manage user access, groups, roles, and permissions.

- Support application upgrades, migrations, and platform maintenance activities.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.

- Create technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

- Provide end-user support and training on Atlassian products.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence.

- Strong understanding of Jira administration, including workflows, screens, schemes, permissions, and automation.

- Experience with Confluence administration and knowledge management.

- Hands-on experience creating dashboards and reports using eazyBI.

- Experience administering Xray Test Management.

- Knowledge of Atlassian Marketplace apps and plugin administration.

- Experience integrating Atlassian applications with third-party systems.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Atlassian Cloud administration.

- Knowledge of Jira Automation and workflow optimization.

- Familiarity with ScriptRunner or other Atlassian Marketplace automation apps.

- Experience with SSO, SCIM, and user provisioning.

- Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with migration projects and Atlassian Cloud best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Jira Cloud migrations.

- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or other ITSM/ALM tools.

- Experience integrating Jira with Slack, Microsoft Teams, GitHub, Bitbucket, or CI/CD tools.

- Understanding of reporting, governance, and enterprise Atlassian administration.
