About the Role :

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Data Migration Manager to lead a team within our Data Services organization. This role is responsible for the people leadership, delivery oversight, and client-facing communication needed to ensure that customer data migrations from competitor and legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products are executed seamlessly, on time, and with a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do :

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Migration Engineers, setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and supporting career growth.

- Own team performance management, including workload planning, capacity and resourcing decisions, and day-to-day people management.

- Attend customer meetings during US business hours, serving as the primary point of contact for customers.

- Understand each assigned migration project end to end, translating customer requirements into clear direction for the team.

- Work closely with the US-based Relationship Manager, aligning on project status, customer sentiment, risks, and priorities.

- Oversee assigned migration projects at a program level, tracking timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.

- Act as an escalation point for complex, sensitive, or at-risk migrations.

- Support and reinforce the global Follow the Sun delivery model, including night shift hours.

What You'll Need to Succeed :

- Proven experience managing, leading, or mentoring a technical team within a services, IT, or software delivery environment.

- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport and manage expectations with US-based clients.

- Working knowledge of data migration, ETL, or database concepts (SQL fundamentals) sufficient to guide a technical team.

- Willingness and ability to work a night shift schedule to support the global Follow the Sun delivery model.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
