Appian Developer - Application Designing

Overview :

- The Appian Developer plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of custom applications on the Appian platform.

- The Appian Developer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Designing, developing, and testing Appian applications and solutions.

- Creating process models, business rules, forms, and integration interfaces using Appian.

- Collaborating with business analysts to understand requirements and design Appian solutions.

- Implementing best practices for Appian development and ensuring adherence to coding standards.

- Conducting code reviews and performance optimization to enhance application performance.

- Developing Appian plug-ins and integrating with external databases and systems.

- Configuring Appian sites and managing user interfaces for seamless user experience.

- Supporting system integration and performing troubleshooting and issue resolution.

- Documenting technical designs, test cases, and user guides for Appian applications.

- Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior members of the development team.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in developing Appian applications and solutions.

- Expertise in SAIL, Appian Records, and Appian sites development.

- Strong understanding of business process management and workflow automation.

- Proficiency in designing complex process models and integrating third-party systems.

- Familiarity with Appian architecture and best practices for application design.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Experience in Agile development methodologies and working in collaborative team environments.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

- Appian certification(s) such as Appian Designer or Appian Developer is a plus
