Job Title : Manager IT_OT

Main Purpose of Job : To ensure maximum availability of "IT_OT devices & Internet kind of things, which are essential for the manufacturing processes and applicable from "Raw Material Handling to Final Finish Product Handling". Ensure not only availability but also back-up, restoration and disaster recovery of these devices (i.e. SCADA and PLC, SCADA PCs / IPC and Network devices). Ensure all safety & legal requirements are complied.

Organization Unit / Location : Chinnapanduru Plant, Andhra Pradesh

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary :

- Working as L2 (second level) support and supporting L1 team, in case of any major issue related with OS, Network and DB.

- Taking / Verification of the back-ups and having restoration plan for all IT devices such as Desktop PC, IPC, Servers, VMs etc.

- Upgradation of OS - Windows / Linux and VMs.

- Bug-fixing, if being observed in IT based applications (based one .Net, VBA, JAVA Core and SQL Queries).

- Disaster recovery plan and implementation for all the IT devices, Desktop, IPC, BOX PC.

- Handling of high-end embedded IT devices, like from E+L Measuring system's PC, Cognex PC, Advantech IPC etc.

- Master in Trouble shooting related with OS & DB.

- Handling of Database back-up and it's maintenance level.

- IT_OT Devices availability %.

- Monthly Back-up Audit Compliance %.

- System Upgradation Compliance %.

- Disaster Recovery Audit Compliance %.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements :

- Advance level Knowledge on "Siemens, Rockwell & Wonderware" SCADA.

- Creating new projects.

- Creating network & connecting with local and plant network, may have various network connection.

- Creating Database and connecting to the SCADA Application.

- Code Writing ".Net and VBA.

- XML File Generation and posting.

- SCADA to PLC Interface (Same make and different make).

- Connecting third-party devices, over ethernet like MES.

- Trouble shooting, related with all the above mentioned.

- Back-up and Restoration even if same model CPUs / Hardware is not available.

- Working knowledge on IT Devices - Operating Systems - Windows & Virtual Machines and Linux.

- Computer hardware configuration, such as Drives, Storage, RAID, etc.

- Data Bases - SQL, Oracle, Postgre, Mongo DB ext.

- Preferred IT languages - Java (core), Java (script), .Net, VBA, Python, CSS, SQL Query (developer and select).

Qualifications :

- B. Tech ECE / EEE / BCA

Experience :

- 5+ Years

Consideration :

- L1 - B-tech engineer, responsible for a dedicated area, like mixers, extruder TBM, etc and having experience of 5+ years in the field.

- L2 - B / M-tech engineer, responsible to support and provide the solution raised by any one of L1 engineer.
